i'm attempting to simply work from photos i've taken of the real world in decay, and work up to an image that represents the entire world in a state of decomposition. currently smashing all sorts of random clippings together in hopes of forming a more realistic and interesting image

the goal is to demonstrate the cyclical patterns the struggle of man vs. nature. although mankind continually strives to escape the natural world that gave him life, time lays waste to all empires and nature reclaims the land.

the form and colors of the Singer sewing machine lent itself into the idea of some flying stinging insect, as well as the nature of the sewing mechanism itself. the machines shape gave way to the form of wasps hanging like drones in the air. outlooks currently lean towards the swarm and the abundance of this form of labor s a means to an end without the thought of the individual.
