  1. What if you flipped the entire image so that the grass was in the sky and the sky was in the grass? It looks so realistic right now, which is great! But maybe if you flipped it the image would make the viewer think more and become more engaged.

  2. I think you have an interesting composition and it is laid out well. What might be interesting is making what is inside the window something different from the surrounding sky. like a fantastical storm or something, maybe have the curtain blowing out to and rain falling through the opening or something, giving some connection to it and the surrounding 'normal' space. Also I would do something with the mountains, they are interesting but could use something to make them more exciting. I like the simplicity you have going right now with the rusted old chair.

  3. Hey, Nice image. Something radical would be to try creating shapes on the canvas white ala rauchenberg (http://www.areaconsulting.ch/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Robert-Rauschenberg-opera.jpg?88499c) or hockney is more like it tho (https://www.google.com/search?q=hockney+joiners+photos&safe=off&es_sm=91&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAWoVChMI7ua5p5DvxgIVRjs-Ch1J1gar&biw=1600&bih=992#imgrc=Q0iYKBeJXtKTOM%3A). Less radical would be to move the house some-- i know it is important to the concept for you, so maybe negotiate where it lies to support the chair? seems like that with the towel in the window make it off balance a tad, good to break the symmetry but left heavy now. nice work.

  4. I like the versions you have posted below better, where you can see elements of the wall and ceiling around the window.
I would change something with the mountains. I think they currently take up too much of the image. I would also do something with the house - either take it out or use it to push your concept further.

  5. I think this is really successful overall. Everything blends nicely and your composition is strong. I agree that changing what's inside the window to be different from the sky, or flipping the image so the sky becomes the ground could push that surreal quality even further. Maybe even fill the window with grass for a repetition of color and texture. Who knows man do u.

  6. I like how in the window the clouds are lighter in the top half and darker in the bottom half. I think it would be interesting in making the bottom half of the window more stormy or a bit darker. Also, I think something needs to be going on in between the window and the chair.
